Issue:
During the scheduled maintenance window, TeleTracking encountered issues while updating the RDS environment hosting the application databases, resulting in an extended outage beyond the planned end time of September 15, 2025 at 6:00 AM Eastern.
Cause:
The CMS application was not available for ends users until September 15, 2025 at 07:31 AM Eastern. Data IQ CMS synchronization was restored at 8:28 AM Eastern.
Resolution:
A backend process for RDS encountered an issue with the updates being made to the environment. AWS Engineers were able to resume the update and allow it to complete successfully.
Next Steps:
We will be implementing steps provided by AWS to mitigate the issue for upcoming maintenance windows.
